(EN)The music of Claas Reimer from Düsseldorf is driven by Science Fiction, jazzy influences and groove in general. At the same time his electronic style is stilistically flexible from filigree minimal up to energetic rave sound.
Back in the early 90ies he released on No Respect Records, Virtual Recordings and Important Records. This was leading to plays in Sets from Steve Mason, Sven Väth und Pascal Feos as well as licenses to several successful compilations. During the time releases from different projects and remixes have been added on Basstard Records, Achtung Schäääpat, Mad Music Recordings, CLSRM Digital, Kindcrime Recordings, Rune Recordings, Diablo Loco, VIM Records, Deep Garnet Records, Mecanoplastica Records, Digital Paradox Records among others. Since 2011 he is also running his own imprint CLSRM Digital.
Additional to that two tracks have been placed in the german movie “Free Fall” which was released as one starter at the Berlinale in 2013. Also his music appears in spots and films from brands and institutions like Vidal Sasson and the Right Livelihood Award. (DE) Der aus Düsseldorf stammende Claas Reimer ist bereits seit den 90er-Jahren umtriebig als Produzent und DJ. Sein Sound ist geprägt von Science Fiction, jazzigen Einflüssen und groovigen Beats. Sein elektronischer Stil ist dabei flexibel von filigran minimal bis hin zum energetischen Rave-Sound.
Schon zu frühen Techno-Zeiten releaste er auf No Respect Records, Virtual Recordings und Important Records. Dies führte zu Plays in Sets von Steve Mason, Sven Väth und Pascal Feos sowie Lizenzierungen an erfolgreiche Compilations.
Im Laufe der Zeit gesellten sich mit teils unterschiedlich gelagerten Projekten und Remixen Releases auf Basstard Records, Achtung Schäääpat, Mad Music Recordings, CLSRM Digital, Kindcrime Recordings, Rune Recordings, Diablo Loco, VIM Records, Deep Garnet Records, Mecanoplastica Records, Digital Paradox Records u.v.a. dazu. Seit Anfang 2011 betreibt er zusätzlich sein eigenes Label CLSRM Digital, wo er in Eigenregie veröffentlicht.
Im deutschen Kinofilm „Freier Fall„, einem der deutschen Eröffnungsfilme zur Berlinale 2013, wurden zwei Stücke platziert. Dazu setzen Marken und Institutionen wie Vidal Sasson und die Veranstalter des Right Livelihood Award seine Musik in Werbemitteln und Beiträgen ein.
